Factory audit and counterparty checks

The most expensive mistake in importing is not the wrong item but a deposit paid to the wrong legal entity. A check costs a fraction of a percent of the contract and is ordered on its own — we do not have to carry the cargo as well.

This is a capability in its own right, not an add-on to our supplies. You may have found the plant yourself, you may run the contract yourself and ship with your own carrier: the check is ordered on its own and the result stays with you whoever ends up supplying. It answers the two questions a buyer asks at once: can this plant do what it promises, and is it safe to pay this legal entity. We review available information on the company, cross-check it against the documents supplied and, where needed, visit the site. The report records sources, the date of the check, discrepancies found and its limitations — it does not replace a guarantee that the deal will be performed.

What it solves

  • The counterparty was found independently, the contract is on the table, the deposit has not left yet.
  • The bank details do not match the company in the contract.
  • It is unclear whether the supplier has production of its own.
  • You need to know whether the company has had disputes with other buyers.

What we supply

  • Registration data, company status and stated activities
  • Signatory, authority and consistency of details across documents
  • Real production: workshop, equipment, warehouse, quality control
  • Reliability analysis from available sources
  • Arbitration record and information on restrictions
  • Matching bank details against the contracting legal entity

Input data we work with

  • The registered company name in its original language and the registration number
  • Country, website and contact details
  • Documents supplied by the counterparty
  • A description of the proposed transaction and its value

Risks we remove

  • A deposit to a third-party account: found by matching the bank details.
  • No production of its own: found by visiting the site.
  • A company younger than the deal: found in the registration data.

Who it suits

  • Those who found a supplier themselves and want it checked before paying
  • Companies working with a specific plant for the first time
  • Security and legal departments
  • Buyers facing a large advance payment

Questions and answers

Can we order only the check, without a supply?
Yes, it is a standalone service. Many clients come exactly this way: they found the counterparty themselves, the contract is ready, and they want to know who they are dealing with before the money moves.
What if the check reveals risks?
The report sets out the conditions under which work may still be possible: a letter of credit instead of a deposit, split payments, pre-shipment checks, a retention. The decision remains yours.
How current is the data?
We work with official registers and commercial databases as of the date of the check and state that date and the source in the report. A check is a snapshot of a specific moment, not an open-ended guarantee, and we say so plainly.
Do you guarantee the deal will go through?
No. A check reduces risk and makes it manageable, but it does not replace contractual guarantees and does not predict future behaviour. The limitations are listed in the report itself.

Send us the task — we come back with options

A drawing, a photo of the assembly, a nameplate, a part number or a description of what has to work. We review the inputs, ask what is missing and show the available options with price, lead time and differences.
